Institute of Directors (IoD) Scotland, Director of the Year Award 2021
Congratulations to our very own Michael Longstaffe, who has recently been recognised by his peers in being short listed for four awards by the Institute of Directors (IoD) Scotland.
Having been anonymously proposed by a number of IoD Scotland members, Michael was invited to comment on five topics, with particular emphasis on the role of the director.
He was suggested and succeeded in reaching the short list of three or four from 140 original entries, in three categories – IoD Scotland Director of the Year for 1) International, 2) Family and 3) Large Business (+£15m).
In addition to this Michael has been short listed for the Fife and Tayside Business Leaders Award, appearing on a highly competitive short list of five.
We wish Michael the best of luck in securing something above and beyond the accolade of his numerous short list recognitions and the results will be announced at a virtual event on Thursday 9th December 2021.
